In a move anticipated for some time, the Los Angeles Dodgers announced their new broadcast team in 2022, but the new voice will be very familiar.  According to betway, sports betting Zambia, the Dodgers’ new TV broadcast team (SportsNet LA) will feature former players Adrián González, Eric Karros, Jose Mota, Dontrelle  Willis, and broadcaster Jessica Mendoza.

Adrián González

Adrián González has been hired as an analyst on SportsNet LA’s live studio programs, LeadOff-LA and Access SportsNet: Dodgers pregame and postgame shows.

A five-time National League All-Star and a four-time Rawling Gold Glove Award winner González, played for the Dodgers from 2012 to 2017, hitting 101 home runs in four seasons in 735 games.

Betway found that he won three consecutive Gold Glove Awards at first base from 2008-10 while with the Padres and was named to the MLB All-Star team in four straight seasons from 2008-11. He retired from sports in March 2022.

“I’m so excited to be working on the pregame and post-game broadcasts this year,” he said. “I can’t wait to reconnect with the great Dodger fans.”

Eric Karros

Eric Karros, the long-time Los Angeles Dodgers all-time home run leader and National League Rookie of the Year in 1992, who is currently an analyst for MLB Network and Fox Sports, joins the SportsNet LA team as a game analyst.

According to the network announcement, Karros will continue to work for the broadcasting company, but he adds the analyst role for Dodgers broadcasts. He will select games alongside Joes Davis. He’ll also be seen on LeadOff-LA and the Access SportsNet: Dodgers pregame and postgame shows.

“As a kid from Southern California, I could never have imagined playing for the Dodgers, let alone having the opportunity to ‘call’ Dodger baseball,” Karros said. “I can’t wait to get back to work at Dodger Stadium.”

Jose Mota

After twenty seasons as a color commentator for Angels broadcasts since 2012, Mota, the son of former Dodger Manny Mota and Major League infielder Mota, joins the Dodgers to select games for Dodgers’ Spanish and English radio broadcasts.

roles.

The former second baseman and two-time Emmy Award winner spent ten years in the minor levels before beginning his broadcasting career pinch-hitting for Jaime Jarrn on Dodgers Spanish Radio in 2001.

Mota was also the first Latin-born former Big League player to work as a full-time English TV presenter for a team in 2021. He made history by becoming the first MLB announcer to call play-by-play on English and Spanish radio/TV broadcasts and functioning as a color analyst on both platforms on August 19–20, 2017.  Here is what he said.

“I am really excited for this opportunity to join the Dodgers and their world-class, globally-recognized organization,” he said. “I am so blessed to be able to follow in the footsteps of my father and I look forward to connecting with the Dodger fan base in Los Angeles and around the world in both English and Spanish in my new broadcast role.”

She also covered softball at the 2016 Olympics in Rio. She was an analyst for ESPN’s postseason coverage of the American League Wild Card game, ALDS, and NLCS, making her the first female analyst for a nationally-televised MLB postseason game.

According to betway’s findings,  Mendoza will be an analyst for the Dodgers, and she will call select road games alongside Davis on SNLA.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Spectrum SportsNet are excited to welcome Dontrelle Willis and Nomar Garciaparra to the broadcast team for the 2022 season.
