The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 really caught my eye at the 2022 Auto Show, wisely held this year in nice-and-agreeable September. The 2023 Chevy Blazer appears to’ve had a complete makeover, transforming into a sleek and sexy hot rod of an SUV. I was very impressed upon first sight!
Toyota introduced the Crown into its impressive repertoire. I sat in one and liked its feel. It is a sedan, but seems roomier than the Camry.
When Biden spoke to the Press Select and invited guests in one of the large rooms at Huntington Place, he gave his and Big Squad’s thoughts on electric cars and clean energy and whatnot; I’m not really sure, though, what he/they mean/s. If by “middle out” he means the middle class, I think I might know what he means.
“I’m pleased to announce we’re approving funding for the first 35 states, including Michigan, to build their own electric charging infrastructure throughout their state,” Biden said. “And you all are going to be part — part of a network of 500,000 charging stations. Whether you’re driving coast to coast along I-10 or on I-75 here in Michigan, charging stations will be up and as easy to find as gas stations are now.”
I caught President Biden’s motorcade leaving Cobo. One black limo had a command center attached to the back of it. I wonder if Joe was in there; after all, he’s the Commander-In-Chief. At any rate, I hope he had a nice time in Detroit.
Anyway, enjoy the cars. And never ever ever let anyone choose anything for you – follow your heart – whether it’s who to marry, what car/SUV/truck/bike/hog to buy, what artwork to admire, what painting to paint — and what flavor Italian/French soda pop to sip.
