
The AmericaJR Web Team recently visited the Petersen Automotive Museum along L.A.’s Miracle Mile. Their new exhibit is titled “We Are Porsche.” Presented in celebration of Porsche’s 75th anniversary, this exhibition showcases American personalities that have contributed to Porsche’s global success and to the formation of a vibrant culture surrounding the brand that is entirely unique in the car world. There are a total of 40 Porsche vehicles on the museum’s industry floor.
At the 2018 Rennsport Reunion at California’s Leguna Seca Raceway, Porsche unveiled a new 935 track vehicle to celebrate the company’s 70th anniversary. 2021 Porsche Vision Gran Turismo concept vehicle 1948 Porsche 356 Wooden Buck replica 1958 Porsche 356A Carrera GT Speedster This 1973 Porsche 917/30 race car driven by Mark Donohue was one of the most successful vehicles in the history of Can-Am racing. 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup PCA Edition A row of classic Porsches 2005 Porsche 911 (996) GT3 RSR This 1973 Porsche 911 S was featured in the movie “Top Gun: Maverick” (2022) 2013 Porsche 918 Spyder
The Petersen Automotive Museum is located at 6060 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles, California. The museum is open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets prices are $19.95 for adults (18-62), Seniors $17.95 (62+), Youth $12.95 (12-17) and Children $10.95 (4-11).
