LOS ANGELES – Galpin Auto Sports (GAS) has teamed up with SEMA and Imagine Dragons to create a vintage-inspired 2023 Ford Bronco that will make its debut at the SEMA Show on Tuesday, October 31. The collaboration was born from the GRAMMY® Award-winning band’s upcoming performance at the inaugural SEMA Fest and aims to bring together auto and music enthusiasts while giving back to the Tyler Robinson Foundation (TRF). The Las Vegas-based music group provided the creative inspiration and vision for the build, which is reminiscent of a first-generation Bronco with a number of overlanding amenities, and it was brought to life by the talented team at GAS. The retro-styled four-door Bronco Badlands will be on display throughout the SEMA Show in SEMA Central before taking center stage during Imagine Dragons’ SEMA Fest performance on Saturday, November 4. The 4×4 is ready for adventure and has undergone extensive modifications, including upgraded Body Armor 4X4 bumpers, an IAG off-road front grille, Front Runner cargo accessories, Recon Recovery rooftop tent and awning, Rigid Industries auxiliary lights and ORACLE Lighting headlights and taillights. Under the hood, a Roush Performance Air Induction System provides improved airflow to the engine while keeping harmful dirt and debris out. It’s finished off with camping-friendly touches, including a built-in fridge, two camp chairs and a firepit from Front Runner. This Bronco isn’t just built for function, though. The team at GAS made sure this ride is easy on the eyes and ears. The throwback styling includes a Ranger-style grille and badging. It sits on custom Fifteen52 aluminum wheels with a modern take on a classic style and 37” Toyo Open Country M/T tires. The Bronco’s suspension has been enhanced with a 2.5-inch Camburg lift kit and Bilstein shocks. Its eye-catching exterior is finished with gleaming Eruption Green metallic paint paired with a gold roof and grille. The custom Katzkin saddle color interior is fitted with a fully upgraded sound system from Rockford Fosgate. “This build is right in our wheelhouse, and I’m thrilled to work with SEMA on this special project for such a great cause,” said Beau Boeckmann, president and chief operating officer of Galpin Motors. “We can’t wait for Imagine Dragons to see how we ‘Galpinized’ this awesome Bronco.” The Bronco will be auctioned off at a future date with all proceeds benefiting Tyler Robinson Foundation (TRF), the nonprofit organization of the GRAMMY® Award-winning band Imagine Dragons dedicated to supporting children battling pediatric cancer. Founded in 2013, Imagine Dragons launched TRF after meeting Tyler Robinson, an inspiring teen and fan of the band who battled a rare form of childhood cancer. TRF continues Tyler’s legacy and honors his courageous example by reaching out to uplift other children battling cancer and the families who support them. TRF’s mission is to support these families financially and emotionally by offsetting out-of-pocket life expenses as they cope with their child’s diagnosis. “In the 10 years TRF has served the pediatric cancer community, Imagine Dragons continue to find new ways to support TRF’s mission of helping families cope with the tragedy of a pediatric cancer diagnosis. From generous donations to lending their voice and influence, Imagine Dragons create opportunities that help us magnify our impact even more,” said Kim Gradisher, TRF’s CEO. “We are so grateful to Imagine Dragons, Galpin Auto Sports and SEMA for this extraordinary opportunity and supporting TRF and our community.” SEMA Fest is an exciting two-day festival celebrating motorsports, music, and car culture at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, Nov. 3-4. The event taps into iconic names and brands to create the ultimate automotive playground filled with cars, trucks, demonstrations, music, food and vendors.
