WATCH: The Mirage Casino & Resort Las Vegas to close on July 17, 2024

The Mirage's volcano show will wrap up its run on Tuesday, July 16. (Jason Rzucidlo/AmericaJR)

AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo was LIVE outside The Mirage Casino & Resort on the world famous Las Vegas Strip. The iconic property will close for good on July 17, 2024 after 34 years in business. The Mirage’s former signature attractions included a nightly volcano show along with Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. A sculpture dedicated to the late Siegfried & Roy is still on display–for now. During my recent visit on July 6, many of the slot machines were already turned off. A rare sight in any casino! “The Beatles Love” was a long running Cirque du Soleil show held at The Mirage. Its final show took place on Saturday, July 6.
