AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo was LIVE at the 2025 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach Indycar race. The 50th annual race took place on the Streets of Long Beach on Sunday, April 13. Sunday’s Indycar main event was a clean race with zero cautions. Race winner Kyle Kirkwood finished ahead of Alex Palou by 2.6859 seconds with Christian Lundgaard coming in third. The top two finishers were Hondas with its American headquarters in nearby Torrance, Calif. Lundgaard actually crashed in Saturday’s qualifying session. His Arrow McLaren mechanics worked to rebuild his Chevrolet race car for Sunday. There were nine lead changes among six different drivers. Kirkwood led the most laps with 46 followed by Lundgaard with 26 and Sting Ray Robb led 12.
