AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo recently visited the site of the all-new Tesla Diner/Drive-In along Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood. It will feature supercharger stations, a drive-in movie theater and a two-story restaurant. There are two, 45-foot LED movie screens, which are already being tested. The site is expected to feature 75 Supercharger stalls with speeds up to 350 kW, according to a post by Sawyer Merritt on X formerly called twitter. Tesla has hired LA-based chef Eric Greenspan for its restaurant. The diner will have a 1950’s theme with neon lights. The menu will consist of burgers, shakes and much more. Greenspan opened the Foundry, a California-French restaurant in 2007.
The new Tesla Diner is located at 7001 W Santa Monica Blvd just east of La Brea in LA’s Hollywood district. An opening date has not yet announced but it should be soon!
