Every Labor Day weekend, the Detroit Jazz Festival Foundation creates unique musical explorations from jazz legends, those in their prime and up-and-coming artists who are keeping the legacy alive. Musicians and fans from around the world come to the heart of our uniquely American city, to experience this uniquely American art form.

NOTICE: Plans including modifications for the 2020 Detroit Jazz Festival on Labor Day weekend are moving forward. We will maintain a keen focus on the health and safety of our global community. All decisions impacting the Detroit Jazz Festival will be guided by local, state and federal authorities. A full plan on the revised format and safety protocols while maintaining our free status will be announced soon.

The 2020 racing season at MIS concludes with the Consumers Energy 400 on August 9. The NASCAR Cup Series stars always end the MIS season with an exciting finale, featuring many lead changes and exciting finishes. With great camping, affordable adult prices, special kids pricing, free parking and the ability to bring a cooler with your favorite food and beverages, MIS is the perfect way to end your summer race season. Everyone 12 and under will receive a FREE Pit/Driver Introduction pass courtesy of Henry Ford Health System.

The hard-charging drivers of the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series battle for the chance to go to Gatorade Victory Lane. The Truck Series drivers put on a great show in this 100-lap event. The race is exciting and the finishes are always close. Stick around after the race for the Saturday post-race concert!
