The SAE Foundation Annual Celebration brings together students, teachers, volunteers, and donors to recognize and pay tribute to the career accomplishments and generous spirit of the industry professionals who inspire the next generation of innovators.

We will be honoring Jim Farley, CEO of Ford, with the SAE Foundation Industry Leadership Award at this year’s event which will be held at The Henry Ford Museum on May 23, 2023 in Dearborn, MI.

The Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear will return home to the Streets of Downtown Detroit, June 2-4, 2023. The event will feature the cars of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES racing in the Chevrolet INDYCAR Grand Prix, the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, INDY NXT by Firestone and the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli. The event is collectively referred to as the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear.

The Grand Prix Entertainment Stage will be located in Hart Plaza and it will feature music Friday-Sunday. Fans can watch performances on the stage free of charge throughout the weekend. Headline acts include A-Track at 6pm ET and Big Boi at 7:30pm ET on Friday, June 2 with Z-Trip at 5:30pm ET and Steve Aoki at 7pm ET on Saturday, June 3.
