PHOTOS: NCAA Women’s Volleyball Regional Final – Kansas vs. USC in San Diego, CA

AmericaJR.com’s Jason Rzucidlo reports from the Jenny Craig Pavilion at the University of San Diego for the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Regional Final between Kansas and the University of Southern California. Were they sleeping or just tired? The No. 1 seed Trojans lost the first two sets, 25-18 and 25-21, respectively. The ladies from USC finally woke up by winning the third and fourth sets, 25-22 and 25-19. It all came down to the fifth and final set. The winner would go onto the NCAA Final Four. USC started the fifth set with a 6-0 lead, but that all changed with the ladies from Kansas started coming back. The Kansas Jayhawks scored several more points to win the fifth set, 15-13 and won a berth in the Final Four, to be held Dec. 17 and 19 in Omaha, Nebraska.
