AmericaJR.com’s Jason Rzucidlo reports from Cobo Center for a special meeting of the Detroit Economic Club featuring Donald Trump. The Republican presidential nominee delivered a speech titled “An America First Economic Plan: Winning the Global Competition.” He called for tax reforms, cutting regulations, ending job killing inversons, allowing parents to deduct child care from their taxes and eliminating the death tax. An estimated 2,500 people attended the sold out event. One-by-One, a total of 14 protestors were removed from the address.
The Detroit Economic Club has also hosted Presidential candidates Kentucky U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, Florida U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. Hillary Clinton has not yet spoke at the DEC. Look for that speech to happen in the near future.
