Country Sensation Karen Waldrup to Sing National Anthem at NXS 300

FONTANA, Calif.  – Karen Waldrup, known for her thrilling country music performances, will perform the National Anthem prior to the start of the NASCAR XFINITY NXS 300 at Auto Club Speedway on Saturday, March 25 at 1:00 p.m. PT/4:00 p.m. ET on FS1.

Waldrup will also perform on the main stage in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Fan Zone on Saturday from 11:00am – 12:00pm.

Waldrup’s whose new album, Justified, is scheduled for release in 2017, has spent the last few years touring the world performing thousands of shows everywhere from Memphis, Tenn. to Dublin, Ireland.

Waldrup appeared on Bravo TV’s Platinum Hit with hosts Jewel & Kara Diaguardi, and has music featured on Bravo TV’s reality series My Fab 40.  She was a contestant on Season 3 of The Voice, a Nashville Rising Star finalist in 2015 and was previously named a GAC Top 25 Songwriter.  Karen has been featured on NASCAR ESPN LIVE, the NFL Experience Super Bowl XLVII and hundreds of other outlets worldwide.

The video for her latest hit song “I Got That Kind of Time” spent 5 weeks at #1 and 12 weeks in the Top 5 on CMT and her “Trashy Crashed the Party” video stayed in the Top 3 for 5 weeks straight.
