AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo was LIVE outside the final Detroit Red Wings game at Joe Louis Arena. Red Wings players and alumni arrived in Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban and Silverado vehicles. They were introduced one-by-one by public address announcer Erich Freiny. Then, they walked the red carpet to say one final goodbye to The Joe as they entered for the last hockey game to be played there. It was an emotional moment for the fans and the players alike. The building will be torn down to make way for new development along the Detroit River. Next season, the Red Wings will play inside the newly-built Little Caesars Arena on Woodward Avenue.
