AmericaJR’s Jason and Gloria Rzucidlo recently visited downtown Atlanta. It is the capital of and the most populous city in the U.S. state of Georgia, with an estimated 2016 population of 472,522. Atlanta attained international prominence, and it became the primary transportation hub of the Southeastern United States, via highway, railroad, and air, with Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport being the world’s busiest airport since 1998. Ted Turner established the headquarters of both the Cable News Network (CNN) and the Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) in Atlanta. The World of Coca-Cola, featuring the history of the world-famous soft drink brand and its well-known advertising.
