The AmericaJR Web Team was LIVE at the Royal Oak Music Theatre on Saturday for the 9th annual Bras for a Cause charity fundraiser. Tens of thousands of dollars were raised to benefit the Gilda’s Club of Metro Detroit. The evening featured performances by local country/pop/rock musician Jill Jack as well as live and silent auctions. More than 65 art bras were on display in the lobby of the theatre. In addition, eight local restaurants offered samples of their specialties for all to enjoy. The Survivors Art Bra Fashion Show was the main highlight of the evening. A total of 23 cancer survivors walked on stage one-by-one to show off their art bras.
