DETROIT — On Monday, January 15, Toyota will take the wraps off its 2019 Avalon sedan during its press conference at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. Meanwhile, Lexus will also unveil a new concept CUV the same day.
“We’re going to be doing two press conferences at the Detroit auto show,” said Bob Carter, executive vice president of sales for Toyota Motor North America. “The first will be for Lexus. For Lexus, we’re going to introduce a concept. We call it the LF-1 Limitless. It’s an execution of what if Lexus had a flagship CUV.Then, after that, we’re going to do the second press conference for Toyota. This will be the global debut of the next generation Toyota Avalon. This will be the first time it will ever be shown publicly.”
