WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — A Chicago-based party team calling themselves Saved By the Max will soon open a “Saved By the Bell”-themed pop up restaurant inside the West Hollywood Gateway near the corner of Santa Monica and La Brea.

This will be the second Saved the Max pop up restaurant. The first one opened in Chicago and closed after a sold-out run there. Now, it is coming home to the Los Angeles area where the TV show was filmed.

On the inside, fans will recognize the restaurant from the popular 90’s TV show. That includes neon signs, bright colors, booths, a juke box, signs and banners from Bayside High.

It will feature much of same food that Bayside High School offered the cast during the show. That includes Tori’s fried chicken, a Bayside burger, Leon’s Lobster Roll, Senior Prom Salad and many other tasty options. The eatery will also serve desserts, beer, wine, cocktails and spirits.

We visited the site of the new Saved By the Max restaurant at 7100 W. Santa Monica Blvd. The restaurant is still under construction with posters taped on the windows reading “Coming Soon.”

When will it open? That’s anyone’s guess. However, Bayside fans can now sign up for a waitlist on the pop-up’s website. For updates, follow The Max on social media at @SavedByTheMax.
