AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo reports from the University of Michigan campus for the 35th annual Ann Arbor Summer Festival. In this gallery, you’ll see photos from Saturday, June 9, 2018. The evening continued with AcroYoga and a performance by Matt Jones and the Recontruction before some rained moved into the area. Ypsilanti singer-songwriter Matt Jones composes edgy indie rock laden with lilting guitar twangs, melodic vocals, and storytelling that’s unafraid to explore darkness as well as light. He is backed by the Reconstruction, an assemblage of Ypsi/Ann Arbor folk stalwarts, including Colette Alexander on cello and Misty Lyn on vocals.
