Marvel assembles first official trailer of ‘Avengers: Endgame’

Look for "Avengers: Endgame" to open in theaters in April 2019!

Back in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, billionaire-genius-playboy-philanthropist Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) knew the endgame would be coming real soon.  Now, he has definitely called it.  And so has Marvel Studios with Avengers: Endgame, and the title says it all with Thanos (Josh Brolin).  In fact, Thanos has always been the endgame since the battle of New York against Loki (Tom Hiddleston).  Now, after a decade, this really could be the endgame: the end of the path that Iron Man has initiated with Bruce Banner/the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) as the Avengers.

Set after the surprising and shocking climax of the Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame assembles the long-awaited return of MIA Avenger Clint Barton/Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), as the rest of Earth’s mightiest heroes must prepare for the fight of their lives against Thanos.

The Avengers were able to defeat Ultron together as one, but will be they able fight together as one to defeat Thanos, the battle of all battles?  Well, even if they do win this war, some may live to fight another day … but some may die (like Captain America, perhaps?).

Avengers: Endgame will begin April 2019.
