AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo recently visited the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas to check on the construction of the new Circa Resort & Casino. Circa will have 777 guest rooms, five restaurants, a two-level casino, “the largest sports book in Las Vegas” according to owners Derek and Greg Stevens, and a nine-story parking garage dubbed “Garage Mahal.” Above the casino will be “a rooftop deck and amphitheater with six swimming pools and a 125-foot screen.”[ It is expected to open in December 2020.

Prior to the announcement of the resort’s name in January 2019, the project was referred to using the code name 18 Fremont, although the street address of Circa will be 8 Fremont Street.[
