Taco Bell® spills the hot sauce, revealing more details on The Bell: A Taco Bell Hotel and Resort

'The Bell: A Taco Bell Hotel and Resort' is coming to Palm Springs, California this August

Irvine, Calif.– This August, The Bell: A Taco Bell Hotel & Resort is opening for a limited time in Palm Springs, CA. And for the first time, Taco Bell is giving a sneak peek into the immersive experience including exclusive menus, fashion collabs and poolside entertainment.

The Food
The Bell provides the perfect backdrop for fans to enjoy iconic Taco Bell favorites, yet-to-be-released test items and an unexpected take on a resort poolside menu. The exclusive resort inspired menu, which mixes local ingredients with the signature Taco Bell twist, will feature craveable selections like a Toasted Cheddar Club with hand-breaded crispy chicken, jalapeño bacon, avocado, sharp cheddar, lettuce, tomato and aioli, served with Nacho Fries. Or the Avocado Toast-ada, served on local multigrain toast with avocado, breakfast radish, chipotle seasoned sorghum and diablo puffs.

No doubt the food and entertainment will deliver the heat, so a Baja Blast Birthday Freeze, created to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the fan-favorite Mountain Dew® Baja Blast™, will be served in the first-ever “Freeze Lounge” to keep things chill.

“Let’s be honest, food is the best part of traveling. A lot of effort and homework goes into finding out the best places to eat near where you are staying. But, with The Bell, we’ve thought of everything for you,” says Executive Chef, Rene Pisciotti, the mastermind who also created the menus for some of Taco Bell’s biggest events like Friendsgiving and the Demolition Man Pop-Up. “From welcome beverages to room service build-your-own breakfast tacos and surprises throughout, many of which feature local ingredients like our Horchata-Date Smoothie, we’re curating the ultimate Taco Bell food experience.”

For fans who can’t make it to Palm Springs this summer, they can still bring a little Bell to their breakfast with a recipe for the Fire! Chip Chilaquiles that will be served on site, with charred tomatillo salsa, Mexican crema, queso fresco, pico and a fried egg.

The Fashion
Food will be the belle of The Bell, but Taco Bell knows no resort is complete without a gift shop. Apparel and accessories from L*Space, Chubbies and DIFF will make fans’ wardrobes a whole lot saucier, thanks to fashion mashups featuring some of this summer’s hottest styles. Fans on site (and online at the Taco Shop) can rock Taco Bell inspired resort looks all summer — whether that’s in a sauce packet-inspired one-piece swimsuit, saucy swim trunks or hot sunglasses, or lounging on their own sauce packet pool float.

The Fun
And Taco Bell fun won’t stop there. While daytime DJs play jams, surprise performances will kick-off after the sun goes down for guests at The Bell. Fans at home can bring the same vibes to their own summer plans with curated playlists from Feed the Beat artists, a Taco Bell program that has helped more than 1,600 artists and bands discover new fans.

Last month, Taco Bell once again delivered fans something craveable and unexpected with the announcement of The Bell: A Taco Bell Hotel and Resort and since then, the brand has seen an overwhelming amount of excitement nationwide. Now fans can officially start planning their trip when reservations open on Thursday, June 27 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on the hotel’s website. First check-in begins August 8, with final check-out August 12, with no minimum night stay. If Taco Bell’s history of creating coveted fan experiences is any indication, reservations for this four-night-only hotel will be snapped up in moments.

Situated at 333 E. Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs, California, The Bell transforms an existing hotel into its taco-inspired destination offering over 70 rooms. For those lucky enough to score a reservation, there are four room types for guests to choose from: one king bed (standard view), one king bed (pool view), two queen beds (standard view), and two queen beds (pool view). Pricing starts at $169 per night. Space is limited and rooms will be available to Taco Bell super-fans on a first come, first serve basis. This experience is meant for our 18 and over fans, so please plan accordingly.

Positioned against a stunning desert backdrop, this location offers a modern and spacious design that is the perfect canvas for Taco Bell to infuse a whole new persona to a hotel environment. Every element of the property will bring to life the Taco Bell brand and lifestyle — from guest rooms, the pool and outdoor bar, to a twist on the standard hotel amenities (Taco Bell breakfast in bed anyone?)

“The hotel draws on Taco Bell’s vibrant palette to create a unique and flavor-filled destination that is the ultimate expression of the brand, unlike anything the brand has done before,” says Taco Bell’s Senior Director of Retail Engagement and Experience, Jennifer Arnoldt, “We’re excited to give a peek into Taco Bell’s first hotel that is truly Taco Bell luxury at a value as we evolve how fans can celebrate with the brand this summer and beyond.”

The Bell will serve up an array of food, entertainment, activities and much more, making this the can’t-miss summer destination of 2019. No two days will be the same, featuring performances by Feed the Beat® artists, dive-in movies or our first-ever “Freeze Lounge,” inspired by Mountain Dew® Baja Blast™, which will offer frosty beverages and a chill lounge.

Guests will be served up Taco Bell’s version of a poolside resort menu in addition to exclusive Taco Bell menu items that will make their debut at The Bell. More details on food will be announced in July, and fans who make the tacoasis journey might just have a voice in what may come to life in the future.

Room reservations will go quickly, so those eager to book should head to the hotel’s informational website HERE in advance of reservations going live, as well to stay up-to-date on the latest happenings at The Bell.

Fans will have to wait till The Bell opens this August for more spoilers. In the meantime, keep up with all things Taco Bell by following @TacoBell on Instagram and Twitter.
