DETROIT — The Toyota-Lexus holiday brunch was held at the Lexus Velodrome in midtown Detroit on December 5.  Toyota Executive Vice President of Sales, Bob Carter, noted that 2019 was a fantastic year.

“How are we doing?  We had a record November in both brands.  We were up six percent. For the eighth year in a row, Toyota is the number one retail brand.  Camry is the number one selling car in the industry.  Supra is doing very well also,” added Carter.

“Lexus, the new refresh RX, is on its way.  We are introducing 10 new products in the next calendar year like the four-wheel-drive Camry.  We are confident in our position.”

“Finally, with all the new products that is coming out, we are bullish on the industry, bullish on the economy and bullish on our products.”  Also noted was that Toyota will be the title sponsor of the 2020 Olympics in the summer.

Vice President and Chief Communications Officer Toyota, Scott Vazin, greeted the guests and introduced some of the Toyota executives that were in attendance.
