Launching this December, Intersect is a new music festival celebrating the intersection of inspiring musicians and storytellers, innovative art, technology, and community. This year’s lineup will feature Foo Fighters, Kacey Musgraves, Beck, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Brandi Carlile, Leon Bridges, H.E.R., Jamie xx, Kaytranada, Spoon & many more.
Welcome to the first-ever Intersect Music Festival… 
The Foo Fighters headlined on Saturday at 10:30 p.m. 
They are a rock band from Seattle 
The group got its name from the UFOs and various aerial phenomena that were reported by Allied aircraft pilots in World War II, which were known collectively as “foo fighters“.

Prior to the release of Foo Fighters’ 1995 debut album Foo Fighters, Grohl recruited bassist Nate Mendel and drummer William Goldsmith, both formerly of Sunny Day Real Estate, as well as Nirvana touring guitarist Pat Smear to complete the lineup. 
Over the course of the band’s career, four of its albums have won Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album. 
As of 2015, the band has sold 12 million copies in the United States alone.[

Paak began producing music from his bedroom as a teenager, while attending Foothill Technology High School. 
On October 28, 2014, Paak released Venice, his debut album as Anderson Paak, on OBE and Steel Wool. 
On January 30, 2016, Paak spoke with Scott Simon of NPR‘s Weekend Edition Saturday and explained that the “.” in his name stands for “detail”, his apprenticeship with Dr. Dre and how all of these influences shaped his music.
