Throughout two films, Denzel Washington has been a man on fire as Robert McCall, a former government assassin who has both the skills and tools to fix people’s problems and solve them.

He is a knight in shining armor who is both a hurricane and a storm.  He is a vigilante who not only gives others a Lyft, but he lifts them out of the darkness: giving them hope with his drive for justice against the corrupt and powerful.

Now, The Equalizer 3 finds McCall in Italy, where he finally finds the peace and solace he has been looking for.  But when the Sicilian Mafia threatens that, McCall has no choice but to declare a vendetta against them and protect his new friends.  First, it was brick by brick, dollar by dollar, piece by piece.  This time, it is blood for blood: an eye for an eye.

The Equalizer 3 reunites Denzel with his Man on Fire co-star Dakota Fanning, who plays a CIA agent with a surprising connection to the film.

The character of Robert McCall comes full circle as both sinner and saint.  He is a man who has done bad things in his life, a man who does bad things to bad people who do bad things to good people, a man who does good things for good people.

The Equalizer 3 never lost a drop or a step.  Neither has Denzel.

The Equalizer 3 is now playing in theaters. Rated R. Action/Crime. 1 hour, 49 minutes.
