Ann Arbor, Mich. — The Ann Arbor Art Fair revealed their 2024 commemorative posters for the upcoming juried art fair that returns Thursday, July 18 through Saturday, July 20.  The new event logo was also unveiled today.  Eli Lilly and Company is the new presenting sponsor for the fair this year.

The Ann Arbor Art Fair is the nation’s largest art fair spanning 30 blocks in downtown Ann Arbor.  There will be 1,000 individual artists from different mediums that we are celebrating.  Almost half a million attendees over the three days enjoy this fair.

Erin O’Connor was present to display her Ann Arbor State Street District Art Fair poster representing a historic map of Ann Arbor from the 1800’s.  O’Connor’s hand cut piece pays tribute to the history of Ann Arbor and celebrates evolution of the city’s roads, railways, Huron River and the neighborhoods.

Megan Foldenauer, a guest artist was there representing the Original, Ann Arbor Street Art Fair poster.  The featured artist, Kent Ambler, is a graduate of Ball State University in Indiana and was not present.  His poster features the iconic Burton Memorial Tower.

Erin Curry, the featured artist of the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair poster hails from Texas.  Curry, who was not present, creates characters in shadow box collages collected from her many travels.  The poster of a dog in an astronaut helmet with a constellation covered in a bright blue background was chosen to be this year’s commemorative poster.  However, Stassia Fulmer, was the guest artist that was present representing the Summer Art Fair poster.

There is also a new Ann Arbor Art Fair Logo featuring the three fairs, one event.   Carissa Petty created the letter “A” with three colors for the three fairs.  The three intersecting rectangles represent the footprint of the Ann Arbor Art Fair in the city’s downtown.  The new logo is a result of month’s of hard work, dedication and creativity that encompasses the vision of the fair in the present and into the future.

The 2024 Ann Arbor Art Fair presented by Eli Lilly runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 18 and Friday, July 19; and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 20.  There will be round trip shuttles to the fair for $8 per person from both the Briarwood Mall and Huron High School.  May Mobility’s autonomous vehicles will shuttle fairgoers also.
