SAGINAW, Mich. -- The 20th Annual 98 KCQ Country Music Fest is scheduled for Saturday, June 18 on Saginaw's Ojibway Island. It is possible to get there on less than one tank of gas. This year's headliners are Wynonna, Neal McCoy, The Carter Twins, Margaret Durante and David Bradley. There is also a classic car show, motorcycle show, children's area and an arts and crafts tent. It is a family-friendly event so please leave the alcohol at home. Admission to the country music fest is free so bring all of your friends and family.

Entries for the car show and the Biker's Heaven motorcycle show will be accepted starting at 7 a.m. Hours of the festival are from 9 a.m. until about 5:30 p.m. or when the final act is done singing. In addition, there will be a giant food tent, a vendor tent and an information area. Famous Dave's BBQ and Jet's Pizza are some of the restaurants that will be set up on the island along with traditional carnival food -- hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries, etc.

For the first time ever, 98 KCQ is selling tickets for the area directly in front of the stage. Those 400 seats are being called "Section 98." Tickets can be purchased online at www.starticketsplus.com, by calling (989) 585-3737 or by visiting your local Meijer store. The radio station is also giving away preferred seating passes at its KCQ Prize Zone remotes. The free seating area is located behind those two up front sections.

In addition, parking is being offered for the very first time on Ojibway Island. Parking passes are available for $10 and can be purchased at the main offices of 98 KCQ at 2000 Whittier St. in Saginaw, at KCQ Prize Zone remotes or at KCQ Up Front Fridays remotes. A total of 500 parking passes are being sold with 50 of those reserved for handicap parking.

Wynonna Judd was born as Christina Claire Ciminella on May 30, 1964. She grew up in Ashland, Kentucky. Wynonna first rose to fame in the 1980's alongside her mother Naomi in the country duo The Judds. They released seven albums on Curb Records as a duo. In addition, they had 26 singles on the charts. Fourteen of those were number one hits. Her first three singles "She Is His Only Need," "I Saw the Light" and "No One Else on Earth" were all topped the charts in 1992.

The big question is whether or not Naomi will join Wynonna on stage for a song or two. Also, Wynonna opened the CMT Music Awards as she was singing on stage with Kid Rock. Since Kid Rock is from the metro Detroit area, it is possible that he might join Wynonna on stage. There are lots of exciting possibilities. However, one thing is for sure: look for Wynonna to sing all of her big hits and try out her new single "Love It Out Loud."

Neal McCoy was born as Hubert Neal McGaughey, Jr. on July 30, 1958 in Jacksonville, Texas. He has released 10 studio albums on various labels with 34 singles on country radio. He reached the Top 40 for the very first time in 1992 with the song "Where Forever Begins." By 1993, he was topping the charts with number one singles "No Doubt About It" and "Wink." In 2005, McCoy released the top ten hit "Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On."

McCoy just signed a new record deal with Blaster Records and is said to be working on a new album. He also wrote a book titled, A New Mountain To Climb: Heroes I’ve Met And The Mountains They Climb Every Day. McCoy is coming to Saginaw after playing two straight shows at Detroit's MotorCity Casino on June 14 and 15. Look for him to sing all of his hit singles in Saginaw and try out his new one "New Mountain To Climb."

Joshua Scott Carter and Zachary Edward Carter both grew up in Hudson, Ohio. Their mother worked in country radio and encouraged them to get into music. Zach learned the piano at an early age while Josh learned the song "Stairway to Heaven" on the guitar. In 2008, they landed a meeting with a music executive in Los Angeles, which led them to CMT. They became the first act on the new record label CMT Music. The 20-year-olds are now known in the country music world as The Carter Twins.

"I think it's going to be a real high-energy show," Zach Carter explained in an exclusive phone interview. "It's going to be fun. We have a funny cover that we're doing that we can't share. It's going to be a blast. It's not a country cover. I mean, we are doing a country cover. This is not a country cover. It's one of those songs that Josh and I love. It's funny. I think it just fits the set well. It's going to be a real energetic set up, maybe some songs that people know, maybe some songs that they don't. We're just excited to play Saginaw again."

At the young age of 16, Margaret Durante started touring with a band all over the east coast. She enrolled at Clemson University in South Carolina, but left school to pursue her dream of music in Nashville. Durante met up with Laura Stroud, a publishing and A&R executive. The two started working together towards a record deal for Durante. The new country artist also recorded two songs for the new Disney Channel tween series, Shake It Up. One of the two songs, "Watch Me," was used as the theme song during the premiere episode.

"Yes, over the summer, I'm looking forward to it," Durante said in an exclusive phone interview. "Last time I was in Saginaw was for the KCQ Golf Tournament where I did really badly. I'm excited to come back and meet the listeners. I'm going to be playing the four songs from the EP and I have a full album coming out at the end of this year. So I'll probably be playing a bunch of originals from that album. It's an 11-song album, six of which I wrote. There's some fun uptempto songs on it, there's also ballads about heartbreak and coming-of-age. It will be released in August."

David Bradley grew up in Sunderland, England and worked as an oil engineer in Siberia. He worked for every major oil company in the world. Bradley's first band consisted of engineers and the guys played all over the United Kingdom. He went on as a solo artist and had the rare opportunity to mix his tracks at the famed Abbey Road Studios in London. His first album was titled Songs From a Dirt Road and it is now available on iTunes and CD Baby. Then, he moved to Nashville, Tenn. where he is getting started as a solo country music artist.

"Yeah, we're very excited to do that," Bradley said in an exclusive phone interview. "We just played the radio station there in Saginaw. As you walk into the front reception area of the radio station, they showed me an aerial photograph taken back in '96 I think he said. I think that was the year Kenny Chesney was headlining. There was about 100,000 people all on this island all facing this stage. He said, 'We're going to book you for that.' I said, I can't wait to get out there. I haven't seen Ojibway Island yet. I don't know what it kind of looks like. But you walk across to it I guess. It sounds fantastic. I can't wait to get out there and play in the summer."
