This year's fair was extended for one more day due to the closing
of the Michigan State Fair. Country star David Nail performed on
Friday night. Look for interviews with Maria Schapman of Vince's
Famous Sausage, Mitchell Shafer and Lucas Walker of Armada, Pat
Welch of Armada, Rebecca & Danielle Hakes of Sterling Heights
and Ernie Allen & Mary Morgan of Port Huron. The festival wraps
up on Sunday.

This year's fair was extended for one more day due to the closing
of the Michigan State Fair. Watch for highlights from Friday's Watermelon
Eating Contest in the Grove area. You'll see participants from all
of the age groups: two- and three-year olds, four- and five-year
olds, six- and seven-year olds, eight- and nine-year olds, 10- and
11-year olds, 12- and 13-year olds, 14-17 year olds and adults over
the age of 18. You'll hear narration by Armada Fair Board Member
Jim Hanvey.
