Jason Rzucidlo spoke exclusively with Michigan native Jeff Daniels.
The actor/comedian/musician/playwright will be performing two shows
on Aug. 17 and 18 at The Ark in Ann Arbor, Mich. Daniels will be
backed by The Ben Daniels Band headed by his son, who has an original
sound that spans blues, reggae, hip-hop, and even jazz. We also
discussed Jeff's Emmy nomination for lead actor in a drama series
for "The Newsroom." The third and final season of the
HBO drama returns in the fall. Check back for part two when we will
discuss "Dumb and Dumber To" as well as the Purple Rose
Theatre, which Daniels owns in Chelsea, Mich.

his role as Harry Dunne in the upcoming sequel "Dumb and Dumber
To" alongside Jim Carrey. It will hit theaters nationwide on
Friday, November 14. The movie trailer debuted on "The Tonight
Show starring Jimmy Fallon" and already has over 23 million
plays. Learn more about the Mutt Cutts Van, which will be going
on a coast-to-coast tour later this year. In addition, we discussed
the Purple Rose Theatre, which Daniels operates in his hometown
of Chelsea, Mich.
