Exclusive interview with Smash Mouth Bass Guitarist Paul De Lisle
AmericaJR.com's
Jason Rzucidlo spoke one on one with Paul De Lisle, bass guitarist
for the rock band Smash Mouth. They are known for such songs as
"Walkin' on the Sun" (1997) and "All Star" (1999).
The band has adopted retro styles covering several decades of popular
music. Smash Mouth was formed in 1994, and was originally composed
of Steve Harwell (vocals), Kevin Coleman (drums), Greg Camp (guitar),
and Paul De Lisle (bass). De Lisle wrote the song "Pacific
Coast Party," which was released in 2001. Smash Mouth is getting
ready to release a new live album this summer. Look for them to
perform a free outdoor concert in downtown Palm Springs on March
14 at 7 p.m.
