ARBOR, Mich. -- At the Ann Arbor Arts Fair, the concentration
of booths and displays branched along the streets off Main were
dedicated to gathering the most innovative art creators from both
the local region and throughout the country.
highlights ranged from the essential mirror effect displays by
Doug Durkee, of Burlington, Kentucky, that give the impression
of eternal dotted light tunnels, to the dragon-adorned paintings
rooted in Chinese tradition by Charlotte Fung Miller of Mukwonago,
captivating pieces like Chris Maher's abstract interpretations
of the body are illuminating in their themes, but the activist
groups scattered down Liberty were also of note in their attraction
these are a group representing the Community Farm of Ann Arbor
and the Rudolf Steiner Health Center (among others), seeking to
make known the accomplishments of a lifestyle approach brought
forth by Steiner.
