Brushfire on Lincoln St. in Banning, Calif.

WATCH: Firefighters respond to Banning Brushfire

 

AmericaJR.com's Jason Rzucidlo was there when firefighters were battling a one-acre brushfire in Banning, Calif. It is unknown how the fire got started at this moment. It began shortly after 4 p.m. and firefighters arrived on the scene shortly after, according to CAL FIRE. Banning Police closed off Lincoln Street between 4th St. and 8th St. as crews worked to contain the fire. Once it was under control, firefighters used shovels and axes to remove the debris. AmericaJR.com was the only news outlet on the scene that we were able to see.
