With Scotty's father, Mike, being born in Aguadilla, to a full blooded Puerto Rican and an American father, Scotty can claim having 1/4 Puerto Rican blood, though when asked Scotty said he doesn't know very much Spanish and doesn't speak it but wishes he had learned when he was younger.
