ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Action Item brought a lot of energy to Anaheim January 26 to a sold out show at Chain Reaction. They performed last night to a sold out crowd in Los Angeles, and were ecstatic to do the same in Anaheim.

Action Item is a band made up of five best friends, Brian Cag (guitar, lead vocal), Anthony Li (guitar, vocals, cello) Mark Shami (keys, vocals) Dan Brozek (drums), and David Buczkowski (bass). They recently released their anticipated EP, Resolution, on Jan. 1, 2013. As of now they are half-way done with their “The Resolution Tour,” check their website to see if they will be jamming in your city . They are touring with some incredible bands, Paradise Fears, Before you Exit, Hello Highway, and with special guests on different tour dates, tonight was Max Schneider.

Before that they have been touring their 2010 debut EP, The Stronger the Love, which they released independently, which is daring and bold. This band isn’t like the other bands, they are committed and hard working individuals, who love what they do, and truly perform and create music for their fans.

Action Item has had direct support from Hot Chelle Rae, Andy Grammer, and All Star Weekend. Also having supporting slots for Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Boys Like Girls. They also worked with Nick Jonas on the track “Learn to Fly.” “Working with Nick was incredibly surreal because when someone of that stature has faith in you,” bassist, David Buczkowski describes “It reaffirms that you’re on the right path.”

They also filmed a documentary “Until it’s Over” of their journey and start of their band, which was released in August 2012 in selective theatres.

Their latest projects is “Project Brave,” on their EP, Resolution, they wrote a song “Brave”, and when they played it a previous shows, they noticed it had an impact on the audience. So “Project Brave” which will be a string of videos released through Youtube by other artists. They will be collaborating with artists across the world, and their goal is get many people to hear their song “Brave” and to create a positive impact on people. They will also be donating proceeds of all single sales from Brave to “Stomp Out Bullying,” an organization that helps put an end to bullying. You can purchase “Brave” on iTunes, http://bit.ly/iTunesProjectBrave. So make sure to look out for these videos in the near future on Action Item’s Youtube page.

Make sure to check them out on Warped Tour, which is extremely incredible, and these guys couldn’t be more thrilled.
