ONTARIO,
Calif. – Fresh off of the hugely popular and highly
successful inaugural car show in Ontario, the Route 66 Cruisin’
Reunion® is pleased to announce the dates for the 2014 Vintage
Metal Road Show™. Once again car enthusiasts, hot rodders,
musicians, vendors and sponsors will park along historic tree-lined
Euclid Avenue during the third weekend of September, with dates
set for September 19-21, 2014.
“We
are extremely excited to begin the planning and execution stages
for the 2014 Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion. We had such a positive
outpouring of support from classic car owners, fans and the community
of Ontario, California that there was no doubt we’d do it
again,” stated Michael Krouse, president of the nonprofit
Route 66 Reunion and President & CEO of the Greater Ontario
Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Each year our plan is to
make the Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion bigger and better than
the previous year. This year with 800 vintage automobiles, and
more than 139,000 people in attendance during the three-day cruise,
which brought in $15.3 million in positive economic impact to
city businesses, we have a strong foundation to build upon.”
The large
crowds that flocked to Ontario for the 2013 cruise were treated
to a first class car event that was widely applauded by all in
attendance. Many of the families and car clubs enjoyed the grassy
median along Euclid Avenue where they set-up lawn chairs to watch
a return to yesteryear as many of the classic hot rods cruised
by.
Krouse
has a message for the car owners, entertainers, vendors and sponsors
for next year’s event, “It’s important to register
early or get onboard as a sponsor or vendor as word is spreading
around the globe about the Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion and
you wouldn’t want to miss out on one of the truly great
car events in the Western United States.”
This fabulous
three-day classic car rally features block after block of cars
and displays that draw immense crowds of fans from Southern California,
the Southwest, Midwest and the South Eastern United States, as
well as around the world. Visit www.Route66CruisinReunion.com,
