13th Annual Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

The Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) festival at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery

The 13th annual event took place on Saturday, Oct. 27.

It is the largest celebration of its kind in California.

This year’s event reached back to the pre-Aztec roots of Dia De Los Muertos and explore the Mayan Gods, rituals and calendar.

It ran from noon to midnight.

Admission was $10 for adults and free for children under age eight and for seniors.
