Crews Demolishing Paramount Blvd. Bridge on 60 Fwy.

After Fuel Tanker Fire • Montebello, CA • Dec. 17, 2011

Bus line 176 has been changed due to the bridge demolition.

Crews learned on Thursday that the bridge contained an AT&T fiber optic cable.

Crews are tearing down the other portion of the bridge.

Once that process has been completed, a new bridge will be built.

However, that could take as long as a year to complete.

Caltrans workers rushed through the night to build steel beams that would support the eastbound side of the bridge.
