HOLLYWOOD, Calif.
– The 2012 Hollywood Christmas Parade Benefiting
Marine Toys for Tots will be held live in Hollywood, CA on Sunday,
November 25, 2012. JOE MANTEGNA will serve as Grand Marshal. ERIK
ESTRADA and LAURA McKENZIE will serve as Broadcast Hosts of the
Live Parade, which will be taped for National Broadcasts to air
on the Hallmark Channel on December 10th and The Hallmark Movie
Channel on December 21st. ELIZABETH STANTON and ROB PINKSTON will
serve as Parade Roving Reporters.
The Parade will kick-off
on the Red Carpet in the Grandstand Seating Area with a Pre-Parade
Spectacular Show to be held from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. featuring
cast members from Cirque du Soleil’s “IRIS;” American
Idol Finalist, singer Kimberley Locke; the world-famous dance crew,
Jabowakeez; magician Joel Ward from “Masters of Illusion;”
a Choral Group from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy; singer
Ashlee Keating and the West Coast Singers, a gay and lesbian chorus.
The Parade will commence
following the Pre-Parade Spectacular Show, starting at 6:30 p.m.,
running until 9:30 p.m. The Parade will start at Hollywood Boulevard
and Orange Street in Hollywood, CA. 2012 Parade Participants will
include: 103 Film, Television and Stage Celebrities and VIPS; 7
Pre-Parade Live Performers; 21 Award-Winning Bands, including 14
from the state of California and 7 from out of state; 9 Equestrian
Units; 5 Floats; 14 Balloons and 49 Special Characters/Novelties.
Celebrities from popular television shows like: “Big Daddy,”
“Criminal Minds,” “General Hospital,” “Glee,”
“Jessie,” “Supah Ninjas,” “The First
Family,” and “The Neighbors,” among others, will
participate. The holidays will be ushered in with the grand appearance
of Santa Claus.

WHERE:
The parade will travel
on a U-shaped 3.2 mile route throughout Hollywood, CA starting at
Orange Street and Hollywood Boulevard, traveling East onto Hollywood
Boulevard turning South onto Vine Street, and then traveling West
onto Sunset Boulevard back to Orange Street. 5,000 plus people will
participate in this year’s parade. 10,000 square feet of Red
Carpet will blanket Hollywood Boulevard in front of the historic
Grauman’s Chinese Theatre (the official starting point for
the parade) on a lavishly holiday adorned “live set”
where Associated Television International will tape the parade for
national televised broadcasts of the parade on the Hallmark Channel
and Hallmark Movie Channel to be aired during the holiday season.

be held in the streets of Hollywood on Sunday, November 25, 2012.

believe our presence in the parade will offer a reminder to families
across the nation to think of those less fortunate this holiday
season. By donating a new unwrapped toy or by making a cash contribution
to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, we will be able to bring
smiles to children on Christmas morning who otherwise might be forgotten.”
During the course of
the Red Carpet Arrivals Event a special presentation will be made
by Lieutenant General Pete Osman, USMC (Ret), President and CEO
of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to Michelle Vicary, Executive
Vice President, Programming, Hallmark Channel.
