"I'd
like you to fight the Coachella Valley bike path," Bono Mack
added. "It's a $1 million per mile proposal from Desert Hot
Springs to Coachella. This plan bothers me."

"I
started getting calls from Channel 4," Botts said about rumors
of a possible Romney appearance. "I sent a press release
out then some organization sent a release. He needs to be in the
battleground states. The young people thought he was going to
be here."

"We
heard about this on the news in between the Olympics," said
Clay James, an 18-year-old Romney supporter. "We live in
Indio, Calif. I am looking for my future. I don't know if there's
a stable career choice. Economically, we'll be better [with Romney]."
