Built
in 1962 and newly renovated in 2004, Dawson Auditorium is the campus
center for theatre, arts, music, and lectures. Named for the 14th
president John Harper Dawson, it seats 1,000 persons.

Built
in 1964, the Adrian College Chapel was a gift of Ray W. Herrick
in memory of his mother, Katherine Elizabeth Herrick. It is used
for weekly services, seasonal services and other campus and community
activities. It seats a congregation of 1,000 and a choir of 110.
Open daily for private worship, its notable features include a 2,100-pipe
organ and 16 custom-designed stained glass windows.

Jones
Hall houses the departments of history, political science, accounting,
earth science and economics.

Built
in 1990, Merillat provides educational, recreation and fitness facilities
for all Adrian College students, faculty members and staff. The
80,000 square foot complex includes a multi-sport forum for general
recreational use with courts for basketball, volleyball and tennis,
surrounded by a one-tenth mile indoor track.

Adrian
College
Adrian College is a private, co-educational
liberal arts college related to the United Methodist Church
and located in the city of Adrian in the U.S. state of Michigan.
The school is situated approximately 45 minutes from Ann Arbor
and Toledo, Ohio, and 90 minutes from Detroit. The college
is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges
and Schools and as of 2007 has an enrollment of approximately
1300 students. Its campus is situated on approximately 100
acres (0.4 km2) and features both newly constructed facilities
with modern designs and historic buildings recognized for
their past, such as Downs Hall, home of the college's Stubnitz
art gallery and theater program. Adrian College is the third
college or university to offer women's hockey as a varsity
sport in the state of Michigan.
