St.
Clare Academy, the first permanent building of the College, was
built in 1929 according to the California mission style of architecture.
In 1977, St. Clare Academy was renamed St. Clare Hall.

Joined to Lourdes Hall, St. Clare Hall includes offices
of the Registrar, Bursar, the College Bookstore, faculty offices,
music practice rooms, classrooms, and meeting areas.

Department of Human Resources and the Nursing Department are located
on the second floor.

Mother
Adelaide Hall houses the Admissions Office and the Financial Aid
Office. It also contains faculty offices, art studios, class rooms,
science laboratories, The Appold Planetarium, the Planetarium Lobby
and Café Lourdes (campus food service).

Lourdes
College
Lourdes College is a independent, private,
Catholic university in Sylvania, Ohio, 10 miles (16 km) northwest
of Toledo. The college also operates an extension location
for its nursing program in Sandusky, Ohio. The liberal-arts
institution opened in 1958 as Lourdes Junior College and is
rooted in the Catholic Franciscan tradition, Lourdes offers
baccalaureate degree programs in the arts, business, education,
nursing, sciences and social work as well as graduate degrees
in education, nursing, organizational leadership and theology.
The institution
also offers pre-professional programs such as art therapy,
engineering, law, medicine, occupational therapy, physical
therapy and veterinary science. It is classified as a Master’s
university by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement
of Teaching.
