Spartan
Lanes are located in the sub-basement floor of the south wing, there
are 16 Brunswick lanes offering leagues, tournaments, open bowling
as well as physical education classes.

Beaumont
Tower (1928), designed by the architectural firm of Donaldson and
Meier, is a structure on the campus of Michigan State University.
The 105 foot tall tower marks the site of College Hall, the first
building in America erected for instruction in scientific agriculture.
Beaumont also houses a full carillon, with 49 bells.

The
museum, initiated in 1857, is one of the oldest museums in the Midwest
and is accredited by the American Association of Museums. In 2001,
the MSU Museum became the first museum in the state to receive Smithsonian
affiliate status from the Smithsonian Institution in Washington,
D.C., the world's largest museum and research complex, thereby giving
the MSU Museum broader access to Smithsonian cultural and scientific
resources.

The
Michigan State University Library is the 26th largest academic library
system in North America with over 4.7 million volumes and 6.4 million
microforms. The university library comprises nine branch locations
including the main library.

Electrical
engineering became a formal part of Michigan State University (then
known as Michigan Agricultural College) in 1909 when the Division
of Engineering was established. R.E. Olds gifted $100,000 to rebuild
the new (Olds Hall of) Engineering building.

Michigan
State University
Michigan State University (MSU) is a co-educational
public research university in East Lansing, Michigan USA.
Founded in 1855, it was the pioneer land-grant institution
and served as a model for future land-grant colleges in the
United States under the 1862 Morrill Act. Its alumni include
at least five winners of the Pulitzer Prize and more Rhodes
Scholars than any other university in the Big Ten. MSU pioneered
the studies of packaging, hospitality business, telecommunication,
and music therapy. Today its study-abroad program is the largest
of any single-campus university in the country, offering more
than 200 programs in more than 60 countries on all continents
including Antarctica.
