Each
summer for almost 50 years, 1,200 professional artists have
been displayed along Ann Arbor's streets. Nearly 500,000 visitors
attend the Ann Arbor Art Fairs annually. In June, Hour Detroit
magazine named the Ann Arbor Art Fairs the "best summer
art fair" in Metro Detroit. There are four distinct art
fairs: The Ann Arbor Street Art Fair (the original), The State
Street Area Art Fair, The Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair and the
South University Art Fair (the newest).
