The Rink at Campus Martius Park

Ice Skating • Downtown Detroit • All Winter Long

Ice skating was free on Thanksgiving day following the parade.

The ice rink is designed to resemble the one at Rockefeller Center in New York City and is actually larger in size than the Rockefeller rink.

Ice skaters come from all over Michigan, Canada and the surrounding areas to skate here.

In the winter, this area of Campus Martius Park is an ice rink. In the summer, it is converted to grass for a gathering place and concert venue.

This girl is a professional ice skater from Arctic Edge in Canton, Mich.
