Crews Prepare for NBC's "Today"

Morning Show to Broadcast from Detroit • Sept. 24, 2008

Crews are setting up for Thursday morning.

The director sits in the NBC News chair as crews put together the set.

Ann Curry and Al Roker will walk over to Lafayette Coney Island and American Coney Island. They will have a taste test during the broadcast.

The satellite truck is ready for the broadcast. The Renaissance Center is picted on the left.

Guests on the show include new Detroit Mayor Ken Cockrel Jr., Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, Filmmaker Michael Moore and Detroit's own Aretha Franklin.

A sign indicates that the "Today" show is coming to Detroit as part of it's Battleground States week.
