Historic Tiger Stadium

Before It Gets Demolished • June 27, 2008

Tiger Stadium was the former home of the Detroit Tigers until 1999.

Tiger Stadium is located at the corner of Michigan and Trumbull avenues.

Tiger Stadium is showing many signs of decay.

This is the area where many fans would hang out before a game started.

The old ticket window is falling apart and many other parts of the stadium are in bad condition.

The "Tiger Stadium" lettering has been removed from the building.

Tiger Stadium is in the process of being demolished. Bulldozers are pictured in the bottom right of the photograph.
