LONG
BEACH, Calif. – Bringing the family to
the 38th Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, April
13-15? If so, we’ve got the perfect solution to
keeping your kids occupied during breaks in the on-track
action: the Family Fun Zone, located in the Long Beach
Convention Center Arena.
The
Family Fun Zone features BMX and skateboarding exhibitions,
along with race car displays, video games and simulators.
And, kids from 4-8 years of age can try turning “hot
laps” in electric-powered cars at the KidRacer area.
There
are also displays from Toyota and many other car manufacturers
and plenty of opportunity to load up on food, drinks and
great souvenirs from America’s #1 Street Race.
“The
Family Fun Zone was a great addition to our event last
year,” said Jim Michaelian, president and CEO of
the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach. “The reaction
of both the parents and their children was phenomenal.
Accordingly, we have expanded the area to include even
more attractions at this year’s event.”
The
Family Fun Zone and Lifestyle Expo are open Friday and
Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m.
to 5:30 p.m. Admission is free with race ticket.
