AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo reports from the site of the new BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse at Seven Mile and Haggerty roads in Livonia, Mich. The Livonia City Council approved a petition to turn the former Champps Restaurant into the west coast favorite. What’s next? A representative from BJ’s will have to address the Livonia Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA). The next ZBA meeting will be on June 13, 2017. BJ’s hopes to open its doors in Livonia by the end of 2017 or the turn of the new year. The restaurant will increase seating count from 249 to 295 and will include an outdoor dining patio. BJ’s is known for its American cuisine and Pizookie desserts with ice cream on top.
