AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo recently visited the site of the Las Vegas Convention Center expansion. The new West Hall will add 1.4 million-square-foot of additional convention space. Construction continues during the COVID-19 pandemic and is expected to be wrapped up by December 2020. A mile-long underground People Mover is being built to transport attendees from one end to the other. The West Hall expansion costs $980.3 million while the People Mover comes in at $52.5 million.
