On Saturday, June 4, the Las Vegas Aviators took on the Sacramento River Cats for an evening game. The weather was 93 degrees with cloudy conditions. A total of 8,752 fans attended the game. Sacramento was first to score a run in the first inning. However, the Aviators came back with three runs in the second inning, three in the fourth and fifth innings. The River Cats followed up with a single run in the fourth inning, two in the sixth inning, one in the seventh inning and two more in the eight. Final score: Las Vegas 9, Sacramento 7.
