PHOTOS: 65th annual Detroit St. Patrick’s Parade in Corktown

AmericaJR’s Gloria and Jerome Rzucidlo were LIVE in Detroit’s Corktown District for the 65th annual St. Patrick’s Parade. The parade typically attracts 80,000-100,000 people, making it one of the largest St. Patrick’s parades in the country and it features floats, marching bands, color guard units and more. The 2023 Irish Dignitaries visiting were Deputy Mayor of Cork County – Deirdre O’Brien, Former Mayor of Cork County – Councillor Mary Linehan Foley, Councillor Kay Dawson and Mags Donovan – Senior Staff Officer of Cork County Council. We were excited to announce our 2023 Hometown Heroes – Father Tim McCabe, SJ – Executive Director of the Pope Francis Center in Detroit, Corporal Nickolas Zubok – Dearborn Police Department, Ms. SaTrice Coleman-Betts – Executive Director of the St. Patrick’s Senior Center.
